What to Do if Artwork is Handed in Late
No worries if a piece of artwork is handed in late! While we cannot accept it after your group has been submitted, we've got a super easy way to make sure no child misses out.
Parents can simply upload a photo of the artwork when the online shop opens!
Here's how to do it:
Head to
www.apfsorders.co.uk and enter the 8 characters from the QR code.
Take a photo
of the artwork, following the simple guidelines.
Save the image as a JPEG
before ordering your cards and gifts.
We'll take it from there and make sure the artwork is included with the rest of the school's orders.

Tips for Taking a Great Photo of Your Child's Artwork
1. FIND GOOD LIGHTING
2. KEEP THE ARTWORK FLAT
• Natural light works best! Try taking the photo near a window or outside to avoid shadows.
• Avoid direct sunlight to prevent glare. Cloudy days or light curtains are perfect for soft, even lighting.
• If indoors, use multiple light sources to make sure there are no shadows or refelctions.
• Lay the artwork flat on a surface (like a table or a floor).
• If needed, use folded tape underneath the corners to keep the paper flat.
3. FRAME IT RIGHT
• Hold the camera directly above the artwork to avoid any weird angles or distortion.
• Make sure the whole A4 page is in the shot and none of the edges are cut off. Don't worry - we'll handle any cropping!
4. SET YOUR CAMERA TO
HIGH QUALITY
• Use the highest resolution setting on your camera or phone.
• If you are using a phone, check that it is set to capture high-quality images.
6. SAVE AS A JPEG
5. FOCUS ON THE DETAILS
• Tap on your screen to focus on the artwork's centre and make sure everything is sharp and clear.
• Once you've got the perfect shot, save the images as a JPEG file.
• Make sure the file size is large enough (300 DPI is ideal for print).
By following these tips, you'll ensure the artwork is print-ready and looks amazing on the final product!
